Dont have the DVD so cant compare the quality but its watchable but the entire movie is so dark to begin with which causes those fog like smears. This has like 10 mins of extra footage.

Terrible quality, picture is so dark you can not see the movie. Not what we would expect from aXXo.
Yea i saw this movie in theaters and it was way dark anyways. like that what really mad it a terrible movie. i couldnt see have the shit going on. So im guessing the rip of this wont be any better but will check it out.
Forget about the dark spots in the quality. It's not the rip job, it's the movie itself. The director had a good story and some great visual effects, but they simple forgot to turn on the damn lights! The DVD version is just as bad. Simply put the director of this movie knows nothing about the proper way to light a scene while filming. Half of the movie is spent in poorly lit rooms and dark outdoor scenes. Aliens (Alien 2) wasn't set in a "sunny daylight" place yet James Cameron (the director) knows how to light the scene...lighting is key! I think the poor lighting is why this movie did so poorly at the box office...save your bandwidth, don't bother downloading any of the full DVD rips, it ain't worth it.

I Agree, this copy IS "WAY TOO DARK TO SEE ANYTHING". And the movie sucks anyway. I actually like the first AVP, but this one has no story and the acting and action scenes are sadly disappointing. Use your hard drive for something thats actually worth the space and forget this movie.
thanks for seeding this file but this movie is not worth anything. Its like they rounded up all these halfbread jews and washouts from HGTV and made an alien vs predator flick about it. The first Predator movie and the alien movies are far superior even the first AVP movie is far better. There is nothing better than living in a white community and wondering why every character in this movie has darker complection then the blacks that live next door.

aXXo, thanks for the upload, until now your uploads where all of great quality, but the quality on this one is very....bad....dark scenes had sooooo much aliasing that it just screw all the pleasure we had watching that movie...but hey, it's free I know, so thanks anyway.I'll DL another AVPR elsewhere just to see if it the bad quality is the DVD's fault or the ripper's.

These effects hiding gimmicks were forgivable back in the low tech 40s and 50s, but not today. This was a big let down !

You are right about this AVP 2 is too dark. I think from my experience, you'll have to transcode using Xilisoft converter to VOB first (takes about 3 hours) then you have to transcode this by using Nero Vision 7 (takes about 3 hours). Voi la! The dark scenes will be brighter enough for eyes to watch when played ini DVD player. I had the same dark and unsynchronized audio with "Never Talk To Strangers, Rebecca De Mornay torrent by 1717Alan" problems but solved nicely by the above method. LOL - "it is 10/10" except for the video being so dark you have to crank the brightness/gamma up (washing out the rest of the colors). There are audio problems, and encoding issue (pixel boxes during dark scenes especially during CG). If there are problems then it cannot be a 10!
